Application of seaweed bioactive substance on agriculture has a history of more than 30 years. Because of more concern of environment protection of international community, seaweed bioactive substance, for its unique natural active ingredients and remarkable functions, has been attracting attention of international plant nutrition field. China began the research of seaweed bioactive substance on agriculture in 1994, this project acts a main role in application of seaweed bioactive relative products on agriculture.
Sample (soluble seaweed extract powder – Alga600) this project used is extracted from brown seaweed by biochemistry technology, manufactured by Beijing Leili Agrochemistry Co.,Ltd. The main content is researching its effects on crop physiology, anti-stress, anti-virus, yield and quality. This research will have a active effect on enlarging seaweed application field, decreasing dosage of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, improving agriculture environment. It has been approved by Ministry of Agriculture of China.
